Saturday 25 February

Morley Methodist Church, in aid of Dementia charity

A great start to the 2017 concert programme. Our 5 soloists were Bob Woodhead, Robert Humphreys, Jack Noble, Gary Davis and Len Barraclough. Our new repertoire was well received.

Saturday 8th April

Brayton Care Home

A wonderful Concert well received by an enthusiastic audience.The choir and soloist’s were on top form,but star of the evening had to be Jack Noble whose recitation had the audience rolling in their seats with laughter.

Sunday 23rd April

An unexpected request to sing at Featherstone Rovers’ Challenge Cup match against Oldham.

Saturday 29 April

Featherstone Methodist Church, Ian Dransfield Memorial Concert in aid of The Prince of Wales Hospice.

Mrs Cynthia Dransfield said:

“The whole evening was first class from beginning to end: the choir, soloists and audience participation created a wonderful atmosphere.The most important thing about the evening was the money raised for The Prince of Wales Hospice”. Around £1300 was raised at this concert.

We received amazing concert feedback which was very positive indeed, the audience members loved the quality of the voices together with the variety and humour which the choir offered and found the evening to be thoroughly enjoyable.

A wonderful total of £1,528.81p was raised on the evening.

Wednesday 31st May Friday 2 and Saturday 3 June

Featherstone Methodist Church, Annual Patrons’ Concert with guest artistes Victoria Sharpe and Ivan Sharp of Opera North

Daniel and Sarah Owens said after the concert on 31 May “The choir gets better each year. They are always entertaining, they always deliver a top class performance.”
