Quick updates
Royal Albert Hall update

Royal Albert Hall

Tweet, tweet!
Another step forward with social media: Featherstone Male Voice Choir now has a Twitter account! Anyone with the correct technology can now tweet a concert report to the whole Twitter-sphere during the refreshments break – not during the concerts please!
Manchester Police Choir
We have performed several concerts with The Greater Manchester Police Male Voice Choir, and we are delighted to read that they are lined up to perform at a harvest festival concert in Cawthorne. The choir was founded in 1974 with little more than a dozen members. The concert will take place at All Saints Church…
New members
We were delighted to welcome three new members after our summer break. If you are interested in joining the choir, rehearsals are held at Wilson Street Methodist Church in Featherstone at 7pm on Wednesdays and Fridays. We have a short refreshments break at 8-ish then continue until 9pm. First year’s membership is free – so…
Summer break is almost over!
Rehearsals start again on Friday 21 August, following the summer break. The choir members who will be singing at The Albert Hall in November have had a couple of additional rehearsals over the past three weeks, but all the chaps will be back in full strength this Friday, rested and raring to go.
Featherstone Rovers Foundation
We have added another Carol Concert to our Christmas schedule. It will take place on 16 December at the Rovers Clubhouse at 7pm, and will include pupils from a local school.
We are now on Facebook!
The Choir now has a Facebook page so if you use Facebook regularly perhaps you could send a friend request so that you can be connected to all news and updates from the choir.
